Pocono Timber Rattlers

The Pocono Timber Rattlers are a collegiate summer baseball team, that plays in the ECCBL. You must be an incoming freshman committed to a college program or have been on a college roster with eligibiltiy to be considered. The league offers a regular season, all-star game, and playoffs. Our home games are hosted on Creekview Park, the home of East Stroudsburg University.

Ages

You must be a HS senior committed to a college program in the fall or currently on a college roster with eligibility.

When

League starts the first week in June and ends by the last week in July.

Where

Home games at Creekview park, and the surrounding areas for our away games. We will also play cross divisional games in Ewing, Nj on select Saturdays.

Practices

The team will meet several times prior to the season start up and when players are completed their college seasons.

Games

28-32 game regular season and then single elimination playoffs.

Uniforms

Each Player will receive with their tuition, 2 jerseys, hat, practice shorts, and practice shirt.

Costs

Summer fees will be based on overall cost of facility rentals, umpires, baseballs, equipment, coaches' fees, and league fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does registering guarantee me a spot on the team?

No, but you must register to be considered and then a complete player evaluation will be conducted before being offered a spot. Rostes will be finalized early in the new year.

How does the team and coaches work with our current college coaches?

Our staff and administration will work with your college coaches to provide updates and share information on each player. Pitchers who are on pitch limits or innings limits, will be followed as requested by your college coach.
